Qualifications:
Required Education: • BA/BS Required • MBA ideal but not necessary Required Skills and Experience: • Requires at least 5 years of sourcing-related experience in the pharmaceutical industry with an indirect background in the following categories (Contract Sales, Call Centre, PR, Digital, Media, or Creative) highly desirable • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office platforms with high emphasis on utilization of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. •Experience with reviewing, writing, and negotiating commercial scopes and legal agreements. Other preferred Skills and Experience: • Excellent communication and analytical skills. • Must be adaptable in dealing with ambiguous and complex environments along with handling multiple requests across tactics • Able to effectively triage/manage work within diverse cross functional teams to achieve client, department, and company goal.

Responsibilities:
Primary role will be a resource to the global category lead in analyzing detailed scopes for proposals received by Third-party agencies, working to provide analytical support to development of category strategy, assist with development of RFP documents along with triaging communication throughout the process. Additionally, will assist with understanding the market/agency landscape for best in class pharma deliverables. • Cost Modeling – to construct detailed cost models/purchase price analysis of marketing services that are supplied to Client; this may include reviewing previous/current staffing models and scopes to create benchmarks for negotiation purposes. • Negotiation Planning and Execution – to create detailed pre-negotiation plans, to lead and participate any prolonged negotiation sessions with suppliers and to conduct post negotiation debriefs and follow through plans. • Sourcing – to create and execute RFIs and RFPs together with subsequent structured information analysis wherever possible using modern electronic procurement processes. • Contract Management – to assess, develop and implement appropriate forms of contract and commitment requirement with suppliers. • Project Management Skills – Be able to act independently and proactively in the development, execution and implementation of action plans against key objectives ensuring an understanding of the impact and success for identified deliverables • Category Team Membership – to be an active member of one or more category teams using above as input in the creation of breakthrough strategies.
