Oracle Communications is looking for dynamic SalesConsulting Manager for session-delivery products. The location is based inDallas TX or Bedford MA. As a sales consulting manager, you will lead a team ofhighly motivated, knowledgeable, and skilled sales consultants. You will beresponsible for pre-sales of Oracle Communication session delivery productline, which includes Acme Packet Session Border Controller (SBC), IMSportfolio, and Session Delivery Platform (SDP). In this position, you willclosely work with product team (engineering and product managers) and salesteam. You will cover Oracle s key service provider accounts in the US. You willact as a technical resource and mentor for Sales Consultants. You will focus onlarge or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Youwill develop productivity tools and training for Sales Consultants in your team.You will develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations anddemonstrations. You will lead any and all aspects of the technical salesprocess. You will advise internal and external clients on overall architectsolutions.

Contribute to Oracle s cloud strategy for voicesolutions

Work in collaboration with account teams,industry advisors, and key account directors

Interact with all roles at customer including VPnetwork planning, CTO, technical staff and business representatives

Exercise creativity, independent judgment andbusiness acumen in selecting methods and techniques to solutions

Articulate case for change

Lead detailed discovery analysis

Conduct repeatable strategy, architecture,roadmap and planning workshops

Provide assessment of current state architectureand recommendation of future state architecture

Identify and evangelize key business andtechnology benefits of adoption

Build business cases for internal audience andcustomers

Make solution pitch to customer and Oracleexecutives

Manage and develop team of sales consultants

Preferred Qualifications

Master s degree in Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, or EE. MBA or MS in business is desired

Strong architectural knowledge in Telco voicedomain (e.g., VoIP, IMS)

Familiarity with cloud technologies

Demonstrated excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills

Prior experience in managing team of individualsis desired

Minimum 8 years of experience in pre-sales/salesconsulting

Open to travel (about 50%)

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle. As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers. Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions.
