We are looking to hire a sous chef for Honeybee's / Mother of Pearl, two restaurants in the same building operating out of the same kitchen in the East Village. Mother of Pearl is a well-known Polynesian/Asian cocktail bar and Honeybee's in a brand new Southern cuisine cocktail bar. The restaurants are vegan and part of the Derossi Global restaurant group which also operates Avant Garden and Ladybird. Our kitchen is a great place to work where you will be treated like family and with respect. As sous chef you will assist the chef in creating new dishes and specials, developing recipes, creating schedules, placing orders and giving input on important decisions affecting the restaurant.
