    Job Responsibilities .

    Responsibilities include maintaining and developing tools and infrastructure for DevOps team of the Analytics Technology Business within Information Services Division. This position requires and rewards candidates with strong personal initiative, work ethic, and the ability to develop DevOps tools for fixed income markets. It is a coding intensive position, where the developer will be working hands-on with multiple programming languages and will be challenged to design and structure their code efficiently.

    Education/Experience

    Master’s Degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or Operational Research with outstanding academic achievement8-10 years of industry experience as a DevOps EngineerExcellent programming skills in Java and PythonExcellent programming skills in UNIX Shell ScriptingExperience in implementing DevOps or CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Nexux, Jira, Bitbucket/GIT, Confluence)Familiarity with microservice architecture and SOAP/RESTful APIs between internal and external service layers using industry standardsExperience in implementing automation in the cloud using Terraform,Packer and Ansible.Experience in transitioning complex code from legacy source control (RCS, SVN etc.) into GitWorking knowledge of C/C++ (optional but preferred)Knowledge of Unit & Integration Testing practicesKnowledge of enterprise security toolsExperience driving adoption of new technology into existing complex systemsGood knowledge of Linux/Windows environmentsKnowledge of Fixed Income Securities is a plusFamiliarity with open source software licensing, best practice, and sustainabilty
