Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Redondo Beach, CA.

The Sr. Principal Program Cost Control Analyst 4 will report to the Manager of Project Controls and will be responsible for supporting Northrop Grumman Corporation Strategic Space Systems programs in compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements and program implementation. This role requires the candidate to have an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret and/or SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for production and material business support on programs in compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements
  • Interfacing with Cost Account Managers, Scheduling and developing monthly Earned Value Management cost/schedule data and analysis for program Cost Performance Reporting requirements utilizing the Micro frame Project Manager (MPM) or Cobra platform
  • Reporting variance analysis, corrective actions and preparing cost/schedule review visibility
  • Generating and analyzing weekly and monthly deliverables
  • Developing Estimate at Complete (EAC) Analysis for labor and material
  • Utilizing various systems and tools including: SAP; Material Resource Planning (MRP); Manufacturing Execution System (MES); Analysis Office
  • MS Office Suite: Excel; Powerpoint; Word
  • Any of the following experience areas are useful: Accounting; EVMS; Global Supply Chain; MRP systems; production business system
  • Supporting Integrated Product Team Business Manager on restricted program(s)
  • Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

  • An active DoD Top Secret and/or SCI Clearance is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 9 years experience in cost control, business finance or accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Working experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Experience with financial control concepts and principles to solve business issues
  • Proficiency of the following systems or software: Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM) or similar project management software, wInsight, SAP Management Project System Modules and Business Warehouse (BW)
